Village Futures is our leadership, mental health, and career development program for refugee, immigrant, and first-generation teens and young adults.
In addition to peer mental health programming and case management services,
we also provide a number of career-specific training programs:
My Health Future
A 25-hour training for refugee/immigrant young adults interested in healthcare and mental health careers
MHF participants learn the basics of mental health first aid, healthcare navigation, trauma and recovery, and strategies for self-care and burnout prevention, as well as networking and mentorship opportunities. Trainees coming out of this program will be prepared for a wide variety of essential careers, and help fill critical gaps in linguistically- and culturally-responsive services.
