The power in The Village Institute is in our incredible team. Representing over 15 languages and cultures, our team IS our community. Over 50% of our team have been participants or parents of participants. For us, this is more than work, it's family. In addition to lived experience, our team brings expertise in trauma recovery, adult & youth education, social services, organizational management, and community organizing.

Our Board similarly represents our vibrant Village community. 78% of our Board Members come from refugee/immigrant families, dedicated to this work because it is deeply personal. Our Board Members bring a variety of professional skills and networks, including immigrant/refugee services, nonprofit management, law, finance, fundraising, marketing & communications, tech and AI innovations, and real estate.
